EAST HAMPTON, NY – Hollywood actor Alec Baldwin has once again listed his Hamptons dwelling, infusing a personal touch within his marketing strategy. The 65-year-old veteran has already brought it to the market four times, and this time, he’s combining an appealing price reduction with an intimate video of the property.

His luxurious, modern farmhouse-style mansion, located in the picturesque Amagansett neighborhood in East Hampton, was previously listed for a whopping $22.5 million. However, Baldwin took it off the market last September. Now, as of Tuesday, the palatial beach house is back up for grabs at a significantly reduced price of $18.995 million, according to a listing managed by Scott Bradley of Saunders & Associates.

WIth an aim to attract more potential buyers, Baldwin took an unconventional approach and produced a video where he personally walks viewers around his favorite parts of the 10,000 square foot property. In the two-minute gem, Baldwin immerses viewers in a heartwarming nostalgic experience, unraveling his personal bond with the property and the surrounding area.

The actor, known for his prominent roles in 30 Rock and other popular TV shows, reminisces about having a home in Long Island since his early 20s. He notes, “when you’re young, this place is the best.” Viewers are treated to an exclusive look at various spots where he rented and owned residences before laying roots in the Amagansett property during the mid-1990s. Further, Baldwin reveals changes made over the years on the property, including two significant additions towards the eastern and western elevations in 1996 and 2014, respectively, that he and his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, meticulously carried out.

The 10-acre property holds a special spot in Baldwin’s heart, and it understandably emerges through his nostalgic narrative. The actor confessed his love for the property, saying he was taken with it the moment laid eyes on it. He highlights the scarcity of such large tracts of land, commenting, “you just can’t get this out here anymore, you can’t buy big pieces of land.” Baldwin is also audibly thrilled about arriving at the location, particularly during this season, remarking, “I am always happiest when I come here, especially this time of year.”

His affinity remains constant during the winter months, where he says, “I love it because it’s so peaceful and so beautiful.” It was in November 2022 when the property first made its market debut with a $29 million listing. After altering the price multiple times, the actor settled on its current price tag of $18.995 million in March 2023 after removing the previous $22.5 million listing in September 2023.

The multiple-times-listed Baldwin estate comes with a unique addition: the green light to build a second, 10,000 sq. ft. estate on the property, an approval deemed “rare” and “unheard of in the Hamptons”, as per the property listing. The existing house, standing since 1740, accommodates seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms with covered porches and balconies overlooking five acres of agricultural reserve spanning 1,276 sq. ft.

The elegant East Hampton home furthermore contains a pool, spa, a fenced vegetable garden, and a cozy outdoor living area complete with a fieldstone fireplace. Across each of these installations, the heart and personality of Baldwin manifest, creating a bespoke experience for the potential buyers. With a reduced price tag and a cozy, reflective presentation, the actor sure knows to hit the right chords in selling his coveted Hamptons home.
