Justin Timberlake Arrested for DWI in the Hamptons
SAG HARBOR, NY – Justin Timberlake, the renowned singer and actor, was arrested on June 18, 2024, in Sag Harbor, a village in the Hamptons, for driving while intoxicated (DWI). According to reports, Timberlake was stopped by police after exhibiting erratic driving behavior in his 2025 grey BMW XM. Following a sobriety test, he was taken into custody and later released after his arraignment. Timberlake had told the arresting officer he had just one drink, according to the ABC News.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing Timberlake at the American Hotel earlier that evening where he appeared to be consuming alcoholic beverages. This incident has garnered significant media attention, especially given Timberlake’s high-profile status and his ongoing tour, which he plans to continue despite the arrest.
Timberlake is currently on his The Forget Tomorrow World Tour. It’s his first tour in five years and promotes his latest album, “Everything I Thought It Was”.
The tour kicked off on April 29, 2024, in Vancouver and is scheduled to conclude on December 20, 2024, with the final show in Kansas City.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, June 25th and 26th, Timberlake will appear in New York’s Madison Square Garden.
