First-Ever Dedicated Marketplace for Tokenized .COM and Web3 Domains Launched by Unstoppable Domains

LAS VEGAS, NY – Unstoppable Domains, a crypto domain name and wallet address registrar, is now allowing users to trade tokenized “.com” domains via the launch of the first-ever dedicated marketplace for such transactions, the company announced this week.

Going live on June 26, Unstoppable Marketplace enables users of the service to both tokenize and trade “.com” domain names in addition to other Web3 domains, a type of domain name that is registered on a crypto network that can be used to send and receive cryptocurrency payments.

Unstoppable Domains issued a statement on the launch of Unstoppable Marketplace, noting that it will make the at-times complex and complicated process of establishing and maintaining a digital cryptocurrency-based identity far more streamlined.

The need for a seamless and user-friendly platform to trade on-chain domain names has never been greater,” Unstoppable Domains said. “These domains can also be connected to social profiles, digital assets, and business operations, creating a unified and robust online presence.”

In addition, crypto assets, credit cards, and Apple Pay and Google Pay payments are supported by the Unstoppable Domains platform; payments that are not crypto-based that less that less than $10,000 are “frictionless,” meaning that that are designed to be especially quick and easy for the customer.

Opening their virtual doors for business in 2018, Unstoppable Domains allows users to create Web3 domains that can be linked to crypto wallets, which simplifies the process of sending and receiving funds on the part of cryptocurrency holders by substituting standard – and, thus, easier to remember – domain names in the place of the complicated wallet addresses commonly associated with blockchain-specific domains.

Unstoppable Domains has been in the news as of late, earlier this month announcing that they had teamed up with Blockchain.com in order to apply to register a “.blockchain” Web3 domain in 2025 with the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN).
