Billionaire Boss of WWE, Vince McMahon, Accused of Sex Trafficking by Staffer He Allegedly Paid to Keep Quiet

STAMFORD, CT – In a shocking new lawsuit, former WWE employee Janel Grant has accused Vince McMahon, the billionaire boss of WWE, of sex trafficking and abusive behavior. Grant, who had previously agreed to a $3 million settlement and signed a nondisclosure agreement, has now filed a new lawsuit seeking to void that agreement.

According to Grant’s filing, McMahon stopped making payments after the initial $1 million installment, leading her to take legal action. She alleges that McMahon engaged in non-consensual sexual acts, including forcefully penetrating her with sex toys named after WWE wrestlers. Grant also claims that McMahon and another WWE executive sexually assaulted her at the company’s headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut. Furthermore, she accuses McMahon of trafficking her to other men and sharing explicit photos of her.

Grant is seeking unspecified damages for the trauma she endured. So far, McMahon’s lawyer and WWE spokespeople have not responded to requests for comment. In a previous statement in 2022, the organization described McMahon’s relationship with Grant as “consensual.”

The lawsuit against McMahon comes at a time when he is reducing his role within the company. In 2022, he briefly left WWE when allegations of his infidelity first surfaced in a report by the Wall Street Journal. Former wrestler Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has recently been appointed to the board of directors at TKO, the umbrella company formed by the UFC-WWE merger. Meanwhile, McMahon has been replaced as the WWE’s chief content officer by Triple H (Paul Levesque).

The WWE board learned about McMahon’s relationship with Grant through an anonymous tip in 2022, which led to an internal investigation. This investigation uncovered alleged payments totaling $14.6 million made by McMahon to various women. Grant’s lawsuit claims that McMahon manipulated her into a sexual relationship by promising career advancement and then exploited and trafficked her to other executives within the company.

Text messages included in the filing reveal McMahon’s demeaning and derogatory language towards Grant. In one message, he shared a photo of her with others and made explicit comments. McMahon is also accused of directing Grant to have sexual encounters with another WWE executive, John Laurinaitis, who is named as a defendant in the lawsuit.

One particularly disturbing incident detailed in the filing involves McMahon defecating on Grant’s head during a threesome and ordering her to continue pleasuring his “friend.” McMahon is currently under investigation by federal prosecutors for the alleged payments, although he has not been charged with any crime.

Grant’s employment at WWE began in 2019, during a difficult period in her life after the loss of her parents and financial struggles. McMahon allegedly exploited her vulnerability and promised to help her, only to subject her to further abuse.

The lawsuit also reveals McMahon’s attempts to silence Grant. When McMahon’s wife, Linda McMahon, discovered their affair, he distanced himself from Grant and pressured her to remain silent. He warned her that his wife would seek a divorce, which could damage Grant’s reputation. McMahon even suggested that another WWE corporate officer would help her find employment elsewhere, while also instructing her to sign a nondisclosure agreement.

Grant left the company in early 2022 and received the first installment of her settlement, but claims she was forced to perform one last sexual act with McMahon. Since then, she has not seen him again.
