According to Detectives, Stephen Vickers-Griffiths, 35, of Baldwin, sexually assaulted a 11-year-old female juvenile. The defendant was located at the Pines Motor Lodge in Westbury, and was placed into Police custody without incident. 

WESTBURY, NY – In a shocking incident that took place on Monday, February 26, 2024, a Baldwin man has been arrested by the Nassau County Special Victims Squad. According to police, Stephen Vickers-Griffiths, 35, residing on School Drive, is accused of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old female juvenile in Westbury.

Authorities swiftly apprehended the defendant at the Pines Motor Lodge, located at 101 Taylor Avenue in Westbury. The arrest was made without any resistance from Vickers-Griffiths. Currently, the investigation is still ongoing, with authorities working diligently to gather all the necessary evidence.

Vickers-Griffiths now faces several serious charges, including first-degree rape, two counts of first-degree criminal sexual acts, attempted first-degree criminal sexual acts, and endangering the welfare of a child. On Tuesday, February 27, 2024, he was arraigned at the First District Court situated at 99 Main Street in Hempstead.
