DIX HILLS, FL – A chilling scene unfolded in a Central Islip courtroom as Diana Bekatoros, 51, faced charges for the brutal murder of her 84-year-old mother, Josephine Bekatoros. The incident occurred on Thanksgiving Eve in the family’s Long Island home.

According to police, Bekatoros allegedly stabbed her mother multiple times before fleeing the scene. Her father, Dennis Bekatoros, made the horrifying discovery of his wife’s lifeless body and immediately called emergency services.
